The cake itself is a lemon sponge, covered in marzipan (Saskia's favorite) & fondant icing. All the details are made from fondant + marzipan |
| Golf Bag Cake |
This one took some time. The clubs were moulded in gelatine icing and coloured. The golf balls were chocolate truffles.
The result was great but it was a nightmare to transport. |
Because of the climate here in Rhodes I sometimes struggle with the icing.... It doesn't like the heat or the humidity. Sugar paste cakes cannot be refrigerated, ideally they should be kept at room temperature, aprox 21 degrees
