Saskia's Kitten Cake
Here is an insight into how Saskia's Kitten Cake came about.


The cats are all modeled
individually
& then placed on the cake
The cake itself is a lemon sponge, covered in marzipan (Saskia's favorite) & fondant icing.
All the details are made from fondant + marzipan
Golf Bag Cake
This one took some time. The clubs were moulded in gelatine icing and coloured. The golf balls were chocolate truffles.

The result was great but it was a nightmare to transport.

Because of the climate here in Rhodes I sometimes struggle with the icing.... It doesn't like the heat or the humidity. Sugar paste cakes cannot be refrigerated, ideally they should be kept at room temperature, aprox 21 degrees
